At least 8 hurt in crash between bus, semi and box truck

SUMNER, Wash. — At least eight people have minor injuries after a three-vehicle crash in Sumner.

It happened at Traffic and Thompson shortly after 6 a.m. Friday.

East Pierce fire said a semi-truck, bus and a box truck where involved in the crash.  A box truck hit the side of the semi-truck. It is not yet known how the bus was involved.

There is also a diesel spill that needs to be cleaned up.

The crash scene is impacting traffic near the Sounder Station.
