MILL CREEK, Wash. — Police in Mill Creek are asking for the public's help in finding a stolen car and identifying five people who tried to break into a gas station early Monday.
Police say a stolen 1994 Honda Accord with Washington license plate AEV7291 pulled up to the Shell Station on the corner of Dumas Road and State Route 527 at little after midnight.
Four suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks quickly got out of the car, while the driver remained behind the wheel.
The suspects threw an object at the window to break it, but were unsuccessful. They then returned to the Honda and fled.
Police responded to an alarm at the gas station. After reviewing surveillance video, they determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen from Kent on Sunday.
Anyone who finds the car or has information about the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Mill Creek Police at investigations@cityofmillcreek.com or 425-337-1115.
