WSDOT warns to not pass working plows after trailer and truck slides off road

The Washington State Department of Transportation warned people not to pass working plows after a trailer with a truck passed one and then slid off the road, with the truck landing upside down, WSDOT said.

The trailer was on State Route 195 and passed a plow that was working to clear the road on Friday night. A few miles later, the plow driver found the trailer hanging off the side of the road and the truck upside down.

No one was injured.

“Please don’t pass our plows… be patient on the roads and remember that the road behind the plow is always safer than in front,” said WSDOT.
