SEATTLE — Police say a woman was stabbed and robbed in North Seattle overnight.
According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), officers first received reports of a stabbing and robbery around North 130th Street and Greenwood Avenue North at around 2:19 a.m.
Arriving officers found a 27-year-old woman suffering from lacerations to the hip and chest. Emergency responders took the woman to Northwest Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, SPD confirmed.
According to the department, their investigation revealed the woman voluntarily entered a vehicle with two men and was driven to a parking lot near North 130th Street and Greenwood Avenue North. While inside the vehicle, police say one of the men cut and punched the woman before taking her cash. The suspects then forced the woman out of the vehicle and drove off, according to the police report.
Police say the suspects were described as a white man and a Hispanic man, but no description of the vehicle was provided.
Detectives from SPD’s Robbery Unit will continue the investigation.
