A woman is dead after being hit by a tractor trailer after stepping into the westbound lane of Highway 182 near Valley Mall Boulevard and Union Gap city limits just after 10 pm Saturday.
According to a police report, the cause of death is under investigation, and police do not yet know if drugs or alcohol played a role in the woman’s death.
