SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating a late-night shooting of a 20-year-old woman in Northgate.
SPD says they received reports of a shooting in the area of Aurora Ave. and N 125th at 11:11 pm Thursday.
They found a 20-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen and provided aid.
The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
Investigators say there was a fight between the victim and a man at a nearby hotel. They say the two separated, and both left the location.
Police say the victim was later located on Aurora Ave. when the man pulled up in a black SUV and shot her before leaving the scene westbound on North 127th Street.
The suspect is not in custody.
