YAKIMA, Wash. — A 37-year-old man died early Tuesday morning after being shot inside a home on Richey Road in Yakima.
The Yakima Police Department (YPD) says they arrested a 33-year-old woman who is currently being held on a second-degree murder charge.
YPD responded to the scene at approximately 1:27 a.m. following a report of a possible gunshot victim. Officers and medical personnel attempted lifesaving measures, but the man died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say there are no other suspects in connection with the incident. The woman is being held at the Yakima County Jail on a charge of second-degree murder.
