MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A woman was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly threatening to get a firearm and shoot her juvenile daughter, Marysville police said.
Officers responded to the 8400 block of 74th Drive NE after the juvenile called 911. Police said she safely left the home and met with responding officers.
Police established a perimeter and developed probable cause to arrest the woman on suspicion of felony harassment involving threats to kill. Officers requested assistance from the Region 1 SWAT Team because of the nature of the threats and the potential involvement of firearms.
After police obtained a search warrant, SWAT personnel responded and used a flashbang distraction device and an armored vehicle to breach the home’s front door.
Police said the woman eventually came outside following negotiations and was arrested without further incident.
Officers later recovered multiple firearms while searching the home. Officers booked the woman at the Snohomish County Jail.
Police said there was no ongoing threat to the community.
