Neighbors near Third Avenue and Cedar Street said they heard gunfire shortly before midnight.
Police arrived to find two men with gunshot wounds. Seattle Fire Department medics took the victims to Harborview Medical Center.
Seattle police said the two victims were reported to have been in an argument with a third man at a homeless camp.
After the argument, the third man left the area and returned with two other men, who were both armed with handguns. The armed men shot the two men from the argument and then left the scene.
One man is in satisfactory condition. The condition of the second man is not yet known.
