KENT, Wash. — Two men in their teens, early 20s are dead after a drive-by shooting in Kent.
911 callers said the suspect took off after the shooting.
Witnesses told police they were stopped in traffic when they heard multiple gunshots.
According to the police department, initial information indicates that this was not a random act and the two killed were likely targeted.
Detectives are working to confirm the description of the suspect(s), the vehicle they used by processing evidence, including available video from the area.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause and manner of death and will release the victims’ identities after next of kin notifications have been completed.
