While the initial investigation indicated that the cases were not linked, suspects were developed late Friday that led police to a house in the 17300 block of 52nd Avenue West. While conducting surveillance Friday night and Saturday, officers saw the suspects enter the residence with what appeared to be firearms. Officers from the Lynnwood Police Department and neighboring jurisdictions responded and surrounded the house.

Officers called for several people to come out from the residence. Some attempted to flee and were detained. There were no known injuries. Lynnwood detectives had a search warrant that will be served by the North Sound Metro SWAT team.

One 16-year-old male has been booked on suspicion of first degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. The charges stem from the shooting that occurred Wednesday at Lynndale Park. Charges are also being referred to the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for the second 16-year-old male, who is suspected of unlawful possession of a firearm.
