SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating three separate weekend shootings that ended with three people dead and four others injured in the Belltown neighborhood.

Sunday, Sept. 6, around 12:37 a.m.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, dozens gathered at Denny Way and Cedar Street, across from KIRO 7, for an illegal street takeover.
Our surveillance footage captured cars doing donuts at intersections, with several people hanging out of the cars’ windows, and fireworks being thrown.
Around 12:37 a.m., our surveillance footage shows what appear to be three people fighting on 3rd Ave. The crowd quickly disperses as shots are fired among the fighting group.
When officers responded, they found two men who had been shot: one in the chest and one in the abdomen.
Both were taken to Harborview Medical Center. One of the men died at the hospital, and the other was in serious condition.
After those victims were taken to the hospital, a man and a woman walked into Harborview with gunshot wounds, bringing the total to three shot in this instance.
Police confirmed that it appears the shooting stemmed from a fight.
Sunday, Sept. 6, around 2:00 a.m.
Less than two hours after the first shooting, Seattle police responded to another in Belltown.
Just before 2 a.m., detectives were called to a shooting on 3rd Ave. and Blanchard Street.
When they arrived, they found a woman inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. She later succumbed to her injuries, according to SPD.
According to police, an early investigation indicates that the woman was sitting in the parked vehicle and a suspect fired several shots inside the car.
The suspect is not currently in custody.
An investigation is ongoing to determine what led up to the shooting. It’s unclear if the victim and suspect knew each other.
Sunday, Sept. 6, around 11:45 p.m.
A teenager is dead and a man is being treated after someone shot him in the leg in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.
It happened late Sunday night at Elliott Avenue and Bell Street.
Police were called to the area just after 11:30 p.m. When they arrived, officers found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound. They provided aid until the fire department could arrive. Despite their efforts, the teen died.
Police also found a 21-year-old with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Officers say there was some kind of a fight that happened before the shooting.
