TACOMA, Wash. — The holidays are around the corner, and shoppers looking to get an early start can find gifts, food and holiday inspiration at the Tacoma Holiday Festival.
The 44th annual festival returns to the Tacoma Dome this weekend, bringing together hundreds of local vendors, live performances and activities.
“If you’re looking for an experience that is an all-around experience of food, gifts, and you want inspiration for the holidays, this is the place to come to,” Assistant Show Manager Piper Newman said.
Visitors can browse one-of-a-kind gifts from multiple vendors while enjoying plenty of food. The festival will also feature workshops covering topics including hosting, baking and making centerpieces.
There are several highlights planned throughout the weekend, including the second annual Ladies Night on Friday, when tickets are cheaper.
The festival is also introducing new additions this year.
Newman said the Picture-Perfect Cottage will give visitors a place for photo opportunities. The festival is also launching Merry Money, which allows visitors to scan QR codes and earn money to shop at the show.
Another returning feature is Puppermint Lane, which debuted last year. Newman said the attraction will feature a different adoption agency or foundation each day.
The Tacoma Holiday Festival runs from the 15th through the 18th at the Tacoma Dome. For more information, click here.
