PUYALLUP, Wash. — Puyallup police are investigating a suspicious death after a man’s body was found Monday evening on the Riverwalk Trail.
Investigators told KIRO 7 there were two suspicious fires along the river trail from the 1700 block to 1400 block of East Main.
The body was found at one of the scenes, police said.
It’s unknown if the fires and the death are related, according to investigators.
Police are urging people to stay out of the area and off the trail.
The Riverwalk Trail will remain closed until further notice.
Police said detectives will remain at the scene for most of the night.
The investigation remains ongoing.
