DUI suspect drives into trench in Puyallup

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Puyallup police officers said a suspected DUI driver ended up in a trench Monday.

The driver drove through construction zone barriers and the front wheels of the car ended up in a trench.

Police said three workers who had been inside the trench exited it only seconds before the car crashed where they had been working.

According to Puyallup police, the driver’s breathalyzer test was .200. The legal blood alcohol limit in Washington is .08.
