Suspect shot at Kenmore storage facility

KENMORE, Wash. — A woman is in the hospital after she was shot at a Kenmore storage facility.

Around 12:45 a.m. Monday, a live-in manager at Peoples Storage in the 6900 block of NE 181st St. interrupted a woman trying to break into a storage unit.

When the woman pulled out a gun, the manager, who was also armed, shot her in the shoulder.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, and is expected to be booked into jail when she is released.
