Partly sunny and warmer

SEATTLE — We're off to a calm start this morning with mostly cloudy skies and mainly dry weather.

We do have a few pockets of showers mainly north of Everett, but that's about it and those showers will wrap up later this morning.  We also have some patchy fog over the south sound which may mean some mist and reduced visibility.  We also have quite a bit of high cloud cover over the area and offshore, which means we will see some sun...but only partly sunny skies.

High clouds will increase more into tonight which may impact high temps by a degree or two.  Highs should be in the mid-60s.

Overnight we'll stay mainly dry but fairly breezy over the east side of the area.  Tuesday morning around commute time, the rain will move in and stay steady until about midday. Then we'll be showery with breezy to windy weather.  The windiest weather will be at the coast and north of Everett over the water.  Gusts will be at least 40+ mph. The rest of the area will be breezy to windy with gusts in the 30-35 mph range.

Wednesday looks rainy and breezy with temps in the low-50s. Look for scattered showers on Thursday and again later on Friday. Right now Saturday looks drier but the computer models are going back and forth on that one.  Then right now Sunday looks rainy.
