GRAYS HARBOR, Wash. — A trio of goats that was found wandering alongside a roadway in Grays Harbor County got a ride home from the Washington State Patrol on Tuesday morning.
The goats were spotted roaming along Highway 12 near the weigh station in Brady, according to a tweet from Katherine Weatherwax, WSP District 8 public information officer.
Their owner wasn’t home to come and get them, so a state trooper corralled them into the back seat of their car and gave them a ride home.
In a reply to her tweet, Weatherwax said the goats received only a verbal warning for their behavior.

The owner wasn’t home to come get them so in the back seat they went. The goats have since been safely returned to their residence! #goatincustody #yourWSP pic.twitter.com/SiNo1dtTBB
