SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seahawks are officially locking down a key member of their defensive line today, Aug. 27, signing defensive tackle Leonard Williams to a three-year, $90 million extension, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter also confirms that the extension includes $56 million guaranteed.
Williams is the latest Seahawks player to get an extension, with cornerback Devon Witherspoon signing a 4-year, $132 million extension earlier this month.
32-year-old Williams joined the Seahawks back in 2023, after spending five seasons with both the New York Jets and New York Giants. The Giants traded Williams to Seattle for two draft picks.
Throughout his career, Williams has racked up 61.5 sacks and over 630 total tackles. The Super Bowl champion is also a three-time Pro Bowler, and according to ESPN, one of the highest rated defensive tackles in the NFL.
