Both directions of State Route 530 were affected Monday morning when a logging truck traveling west crossed the highway center line, colliding with a car traveling east and killing a 28-year-old woman.
According to Washington State Patrol troopers, the accident occurred near milepost 28 between Arlington and Oso. The highway is closed in both directions near the crash, and traffic has been rerouted to 294th St. NE.
According to WSP, no one else was injured.
