MILL CREEK, Wash. — A Henry M. Jackson High School student scored big during her senior night basketball game on Friday.
Head girls basketball coach Corey Gibb had Megan, a special needs student, suit up and participate in the warmups and game.
At an opportune time, coach Gibb put Megan on the court, and after several shots, she scored her first varsity basket.
In a video shared by the coach, the crowd went wild in excitement.
“This is a moment I’ll never forget and definitely one of the most rewarding I’ve had coaching high school basketball for 24 years,” said coach Gibb.
