On Thursday morning thieves broke into the Simply Seattle store in Pioneer Square and stole Sonics jerseys. They got away with as much as $6,000 worth, according to owner Jamie Munson.
He says it is the fourth time this year thieves have targeted his store. Now he's decided he can no longer risk selling the expensive vintage Sonics jerseys in the store. He will only sell them online.
Sodo Sports was targeted by thieves in early September, too -- twice.
The burglars used a rock to break in.
