Shooting investigation underway in Seattle’s Lake City area

SEATTLE — A 28-year-old man was shot in Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood Thursday night, and second shooting victim arrived at a nearby hospital shortly after the shooting, according to Seattle Police.

The shooting happened shortly after 8 p.m. in the 12500 block of 27th Avenue Northeast, near Albert Davis Park.

The 28-year-old victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is in stable condition, medics with the Seattle Fire Department said.

Witnesses told officers the shooter walked up to the victim’s RV and fired through the open door.

About 15 minutes later, a second man showed up at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds. He did not immediately say how or where he was shot. Detectives said they currently believe the two shootings may be related, but the investigation continues.
