CATHCART, Wash. — A shallow earthquake struck in Snohomish County near Cathcart, about four miles from Snohomish.
The M2.6 quake that struck at 4:21 a.m. Thursday was about 18 miles deep.
Meteorologist Nick Allard says the quake was shallow enough that people may have been able to feel it.
