Seattle Restaurant Week is back and adapting to the pandemic

After cancelling in the spring, Seattle Restaurant Week is back with some adjustments for the pandemic.

One of the biggest changes is that the event will last a month, not just a week. It will run Oct. 25 through Nov. 21.

It will feature socially distanced dining as well as takeout and delivery. Menus will also be more flexible and have more options than usual.

The National Restaurant Association says four out of every 10 restaurants closed this year due to the pandemic, and others are feeling a financial pinch.

This year, restaurants of all kinds, including food trucks and pop ups, can be part of the event for free.
