SEATTLE — A Seattle Fire employee’s car was stolen while he was on duty at the station, Seattle police said.
The employee parked his car across the alley from the station Feb. 14 around 10:13 p.m.
While he was working, he heard his car turn on and went outside to look. He then saw someone trying to steal his car, police said.
The man went to open the passenger door of his car, but the suspect accelerated the car, causing the victim to be thrown from the vehicle.

The victim hit the ground and got minor injuries to his arm and hand.
A second car, which appeared to have dropped the suspect off, took off behind the stolen car, almost hitting the victim in the process.
Police tried to find the car but couldn’t find it.
