Search suspended for missing 10-year-old boy on Skagit River

MARBLEMOUNT, Wash. — The search for a 10-year-old boy who separated from his father while kayaking on the Skagit River was suspended Tuesday, officials said.

Last week, the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office said a father and his son were kayaking when the father fell out of his vessel.

His son, who deputies later identified as Sage Adams, stayed in his blue kayak and the two were separated.

The father hiked out and called to report the incident.

Crews searched the Marblemount area for about a week but did not locate the boy.
