Renton-based Boon Boona Coffee is headed to Costco.
The East African coffee roaster has landed a deal to sell its Bereka Blend in eight Puget Sound warehouses.
According to The Puget Sound Business Journal, Boon Boona already sells in about 150 regional grocery stores and recently won a bid to open a cafe at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
The coffee will be sold in two-pound bags in Costcos located in Seattle, Tukwila, Kirkland, Shoreline, Issaquah, Covington, Lynnwood, and Redmond.
“Getting into Costco is very competitive, and it’s an opportunity that we’re not taking for granted,” Boon Boona Coffee CEO and founder Efrem Fesaha told The Puget Sound Business Journal.
Costco ran in-store demo trials carrying samples of Boon Boona Coffee for most of 2026 before completing the deal.
Boon Boona Coffee also has five locations across the Seattle area, including one in Pike Place Market.
