REDMOND, Wash. — The Redmond Police Department (RPD) posted video of a ‘quack-tical’ rescue after five ducklings became stuck in a storm drain on Monday.
Police arrived near Old Redmond Road and 151st Avenue Northeast and heard the ducklings’ peeps from beneath the drain grate.
One by one, officers lifted the little ones out of the drain with their mother watching closely by.
All were safely rescued and reunited with mom as they waddled away.
