SEATTLE — Power outages were reported around Seattle Sunday afternoon.
Almost 20,000 Seattle City Light customers were without power around Eastlake, Montlake, Fremont and Wallingford, officials said around noon.
WHAT TO KNOW:

Outages are scattered in Fremont, Laurelhurst and Capitol Hill.
Seattle police remind drivers to treat dark traffic signals as four-way stops. Seattle City Light officials initially estimated a 6 p.m. restoration time. All power had been restored to customers affected by the University Substation outage by 3 p.m.
The Alaska Airlines Arena was without power for hours, ahead of an upcoming game.

Power has been restored to about 7,000 customers in Montlake and the University District.

Equipment failure has been identified by Seattle City Light officials.
"Our crews are out there working really hard, trying to get this fixed for you," an official with City Light said around 1 p.m.
A new restoration estimate is about two hours from now.
