TACOMA, Wash. — A teen was arrested Friday in connection with a video of an Asian man being attacked in Tacoma.
According to Tacoma police, the suspect is 15 years old. He was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree assault.
The video had been shared several times on social media, causing an outrage.
And although the video only went viral this week, the assault happened in November.
The victim, a Korean man, sat down with KIRO 7′s Kevin Ko and said, “I just don’t understand why I was attacked.”
The suspect arrested is a 15-year-old, according to Tacoma PD. He was taken into custody for second-degree assault. @KIRO7Seattle
