LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Police are asking for help in identifying two people in an attempted gun store burglary early Wednesday in Lynnwood.
Surveillance video police received from Lynnwood Gun and Ammunition shows two people using a tire iron to smash a window and a door, trying to break in.
Nothing was stolen from the store.
According to police, deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office later spotted an older white single-cab GMC truck with a canopy that was believed to be connected to the two people who attempted to break in.
Deputies attempted to stop the truck, but the driver sped off and deputies terminated the pursuit, officials said.
Anyone with information regarding the two people in the video or who sees the truck is asked to call 425-670-5622 or email Detective Reorda at breorda@lynnwoodwa.gov.
