Police: One shot in the head during armed robbery in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood

SEATTLE — A person was shot in the head during an armed robbery in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood early Thursday morning, according to Seattle police.

Police confirmed that they are investigating the armed robbery, which happened inside an apartment unit along 4th Avenue around 5:30 a.m.

The first victim, a 45-year-old man, was shot in the head, police say. Seattle Fire Department medics reportedly took the victim to Harborview Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

A second victim was pistol-whipped and taken to SPD headquarters to be interviewed by detectives.

Police confirmed that at least one suspect is outstanding, but there are possibly multiple suspects involved. Nobody has been arrested yet.
