A 36-year-old man was killed around 1 a.m. on Sunday in a shooting in the 5800 block of 4th Avenue South in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood.
In a statement, the Seattle Police Department said officers responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls in the area to find a man dead outside a nearby nightclub.
Inside the club, officers also found a 27-year-old woman who had been shot in the leg.
SPD said security camera footage shows a car had driven into the parking lot of the club and the driver had fired multiple shots from the vehicle towards the nightclub.
SPD found the vehicle less than an hour later, fully engulfed in flames.
According to the department, the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
