Police arrest person in connection to groping incidents near Seattle University

SEATTLE — Police have arrested a person in connection after reports of groping near the Seattle University campus.

Between Thursday and Sunday, the university received five reports of indecent liberties.

According to public safety officials, the incidents were similar. It was reported that the man, who was riding a bicycle, would approach a person from behind, touch or slap the person's buttocks and then ride away quickly.

On Monday, a public safety officer stopped a person of interest in the incidents.

Seattle police then arrested the person for outstanding warrants and other charges.
