Multiple fire and police departments worked together last night to find and rescue a person who had gotten lost while walking along a river in Auburn.
According to South King County fire officials, crews from Valley Regional Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a river rescue along Stuck River Drive in Auburn at around 8 p.m. Sunday.
Fire officials say the individual reported that they had gotten lost while walking in the woods along the river.
Units from South King Fire and Rescue, Puget Sound Fire, Enumclaw Fire, King County Fire and Rescue, and the Auburn Police Department were also dispatched.
An hour later, at around 9 p.m., the individual was found.
Officials confirmed that they were brought out of the woods, and no injuries were reported.
