Deputies are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed in Maple Valley Friday evening.
Investigators a woman was crossing the Maple Valley Highway at Southeast 253rd Place when she was hit by a car.
She died at the scene.
Deputies said the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The driver showed no signs of impairment.
According to investigators, the area where the woman crossed didn't have streetlights or a crosswalk.
