KENT, Wash. — Police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a man in Kent.
It happened on South 272nd Street near 42nd Avenue South around midnight Thursday.
Officers responded to the area after someone called 911 to report seeing a man’s body on the side of the road.
When officers arrived, they located the man’s body and saw his injuries were consistent with being struck by a car.
Police identified him as a 49-year-old Kent man.
Officers could not locate any witnesses but police are asking anyone that was in the area or may have saw the incident to call the Kent Police Department’s tip line at 253-856-5808 and refer to case no. 20-9091.
