Pedestrian injured in Tacoma hit-and-run

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are searching for a driver after a 45-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run on Tuesday evening.

The incident happened at the intersection of South 34th Street and Fawcett Avenue.

Police told KIRO 7 the man was crossing the street when he was struck by the car. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said the car drove away from the scene.
