Fromm Family Foods is recalling thousands of cases of wet dog food over potential metal contamination.
According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recall involves 3,852 cases of Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet canned dog food and 1,973 cases of Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet canned dog food.

Recalled products were distributed at neighborhood pet stores and online outlets in the United States and Canada.
So far, there have been no reports of illness or injury from the food.
The recall was initiated after Fromm Family Foods received complaints from customers.
“We have identified the error, and in addition to our existing safety processes, we have put corrective actions in place to prevent this from happening again,” the company said.
Pet owners are urged to return the product to their retailer.
