Olympia police close streets for bomb threat

OLYMPIA, Wash. — Olympia police officers are responding to a bomb threat Monday morning.

The department tweeted about the threat in the area of Union Avenue and Quince Street at 8:08 a.m.

Businesses in the area are being evacuated and several roads are closed.

Police are asking people to avoid the area if possible and said such events usually take several hours to clear.
