A Washington man was arrested in Hawaii for violating a mandatory 14-day quarantine there.
Devin Martin, 50, is from Olympia.
Police say he was on an Alaska Airlines flight to the island of Kaua'i Thursday.
He was contacted by airport security when he landed and advised of the quarantine.
Police said he didn’t have a place to stay and reportedly refused to find one.
The state Tourism Board alerted the Kaua’i Police Department and the man was arrested.
Police said Martin didn’t show signs of sickness but was checked out at a hospital before he was put in jail.
He is expected to return to the mainland on Friday.
