Northbound Interstate 405 reopened at about 6:45 a.m. Thursday after it was completely shut down for hours following an officer involved crash.
Two motorcycle officers collided early Thursday morning on NB I-405 just south on I-90.
There is still a backup of over 6 miles.
WSDOT is asking motorists to consider alternate routes including NB SR-167 to SB I-405 to NB I-5.
Both officers are being treated for minor injuries.
The officers were escorting an oversized load when they collided.
There were no other injuries.
