2 dead, 3 injured injured in Federal Way crash

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Police are investigating after two people were killed and three people were injured in a crash Tuesday night in Federal Way.

After 7 p.m., crews responded to a report of a crash that involved multiple cars in the 37400 block of Pacific Highway South.

The crash blocked both directions of Pacific Highway South.

Federal Way police said two people died at the scene.

Crews with South King Fire said two people were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center and that one person was taken by ground.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Federal Way police said drugs and alcohol did not appear to be a factor at this time.
