MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash. — The Mountlake Terrace Police Department has arrested a man accused of groping young girls near the high school.
Since May, the department has received at least a dozen reports involving a bald man in his 30s to 40s approaching young women and initiating unwanted contact.
According to the department, these encounters escalated over the past two weeks to include unwanted touching, prompting increased patrols and investigative efforts.
On September 16, officers arrested a suspect. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
“The Mountlake Terrace Police Department recognizes and commends the hard work, vigilance, and dedication of our patrol officers and investigators. Their commitment to rapid response, thorough casework, and community protection directly led to the identification and arrest of the suspect,” Commander Scott King shared.
