SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A motorcyclist involved in a collision with a car on Pioneer Highway on Sunday in Snohomish County has died, deputies said.
The crash happened in the 1800 block of the highway. The road was closed between 15th Avenue Northeast for eastbound traffic and blocked just west of Interstate 5.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, authorities said.
No other injuries were reported.
It is not yet known what led to the crash, but the investigation remains ongoing.
