Motorcycle driver hit by car in south Seattle Wednesday morning

Police are investigating after a motorcycle driver was hit by a car in south Seattle Wednesday morning.

According to the Seattle Police Department, just after 10:20 a.m., a motorcycle driver heading southbound in the 4300 block of 4th Avenue South was hit by a Nissan Pathfinder making a left turn.

The motorcycle driver, a 64-year-old man, suffered a severe leg injury and was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The Pathfinder was found abandoned two blocks away from the scene of the crash. The driver of the Pathfinder was not found.
