MOSES LAKE, Wash. — A Moses Lake woman was arrested on Monday, accused of pulling a knife on a man and stealing his cat.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a home on Patton Boulevard Northeast just after 12:30 p.m.
On the way there, a deputy saw the woman jump through a hole in a fence along State Route 17. The deputy followed the woman, who threatened to stab law enforcement.
The sheriff’s office eventually used a K9 to track the woman down and arrest her.
She was booked into the Grant County Jail for robbery, felony threats to kill, intimidating a public servant, and obstructing law enforcement.
“We can assume the cat was unharmed since there is no mention of animal cruelty in the deputies’ reports,” the sheriff’s office added.
