MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A couple of cows caused quite the stir during the Monday morning commute on southbound I-5.
According to Marysville police, the cows took the 172nd Street exit and wandered into Lakewood Commons.
“One citizen cowboy with a lasso, WSP troopers and Marysville Police Department officers—the dream team none of us knew we needed- wrangled the bovine travelers and kept them safe until the owner’s neighbor arrived,” the department shared online.
The department posted video of the attempts to corral the cows:
“All cows are now home and probably bragging about their big road trip,” the department joked.
