Minnesota police shooting of Daunte Wright sparks Seattle demonstration

SEATTLE — Seattle police said Monday night that a group marching in downtown Seattle vandalized and damaged businesses in the neighborhood.

This comes after protests erupted for another night in Minneapolis after 20-year-old Daunte Wright was shot and killed by police during a traffic stop.

Police said multiple businesses along Fifth Avenue were vandalized as the group marched southbound.

Officers gave a warning to the group to not block traffic and keep the demonstration peaceful.

The group had moved from downtown Seattle to the Pioneer Square neighborhood.
